These are some of the questions we get asked ALL the time πŸ™‚

Q. If I register my child, when will they train?

A. Training is dependant on multiple outcomes. If your child is joining a brand new team (all you preps!), we need to appoint a volunteer coach and then we try to work with them to find a time that they are able to run training. We will then notify you of the new training time that has been allocated – this may be a few weeks after registration closes.

If you are a new player, and there is a spot available within an existing team, we will notify you of your team and training time, post registration.

Training is usually before school from 8am – 8:50am or after school between 3:30-5:30pm.

All training sessions currently run for 50-60minutes.

Q. Is prep too young to start playing? My child can’t dribble a ball…

A.Β Prep is a great time to start playing basketball, they are all beginners and have fun learning the game together. The referees understand that they are all starting out and help to teach them the game as well. Our clubs focus at this age is to develop a love for the game.
